The youngest member of a family inherits a mischievous cat who offers to elevate his miserable life and make him a nobleman. Thanks to his cunning, he manages to outwit the king and defeat a giant who is terrorizing the surrounding countryside. He then appropriates his castle in the name of his master: the Marquis de Carabas. Impressed by the Marquis’s wealth, the king offers him his daughter’s hand in marriage.
