The Université populaire des arts de la marionnettes (UPAM) is an activity organized by the Comité vie associative of the AQM. With a different teacher at each session, these unique encounters enable puppeteers, artists, cultural workers and lovers of the 11th art to pursue their reflections on various issues related to the puppetry arts.

The UPAM wishes to create a community spirit around the medium itself and the love of this art, for its depth and particularities. The AQM aspires, with these popular university courses, to forge links between puppeteers and other cultural and artistic milieus, creating a greater sense of belonging to the community.
