The City of Jonquière presents its permanent exhibition Saguenay, ville amie de la marionnette, which is on display in cultural and governance venues across the territory. The public can discover eight thematic stations dedicated to this dynamic discipline at the Jonquière borough office, the Foyer des loisirs et de la culture, the Centre culturel du mont Jacob, the Centre des arts et de la culture de Chicoutimi and the four Saguenay library branches: La Baie, Chicoutimi, Arvida and Hélène-Pedneault in Jonquière.
Several exhibitions have been designed using the puppets bequeathed by Théâtre Sans Fil to create a collection, owned by the City of Saguenay, dedicated to the puppet arts. The City of Saguenay is grateful for the collaboration of creators and organizations without whom this exhibition would not have been possible: Dany Lefrançois, Festival international des arts de la marionnette à Saguenay, La Tortue Noire, Théâtre Les Amis de Chiffon, École nationale d’apprentissage par la marionnette (ÉNAM), Théâtre CRI, Théâtre À Bout Portant, Mylène Leboeuf-Gagné, Pauline Tremblay, Théâtre Sans Fil, Théâtre La Rubrique, Martin Gagnon, Ann Jones, Esther Jones, Théâtre de la Dame de Cœur, Les Têtes Heureuses, Festival La Noce, Théâtre à l’Envers, Patrick Bouchard and Johanne Bédard.
